Happy Spring everyone!! In honor of Spring stepping forward (hopefully!) I decided to make a fun Beaded Spring Wreath!
Of course I had to do some repurposing, and these beads were just begging to be used. I'll bet you can't guess what they were originally used for! I have a TON still, and have cool plans for them...
Today I am sharing my tutorial for this wreath over at
Oh My! Creative today, I hope you pop on over to

We (my family and I) are heading out of town for spring break, this weekend, Yippee! Have you had yours yet?

I have an exciting announcement for you today!! Most of you may not know that I am now a Contributor over at
My Repurposed Life! Gail is my hero, seriously. Her blog was one of the very first blogs I started following when I discovered them a few years back, so this is a HUGE honor for me! I know, I know, someone pinch me please!
I am excited to show you my first contributor post,
A Repurposed hook shelf into a fun book shelf, that I shared last month. Here it is!
This is a project I created this for my daughters room...
Wowza Weekend Link Party #45
& Features from Link Party #44
Hey Everyone! Today I solved a problem, a fruit problem and a dead corner problem...in my kitchen.
I like my counters pretty clutter free, with the exception of having my fruit out, making it easy for the kids to grab. With 6 kids I have a lot of fruit but nothing good to store it in. I have tried several different methods, but it always comes down to the fact that nothing could hold all the bananas, apples, oranges, pears, etc... I tried using my
Bread Crate, but only one bushel of bananas would fit. I have also tried my
Fruit Tray, it was too small, and I really like it better for cakes and cookies anyway. So....
Since I have a dead corner in my kitchen and nothing to put my fruit in...I decided to just build a corner fruit tower that would fit in my corner and hold all my fruit. I love killing two birds with one stone!
I have been enjoying it all day, it makes me smile. When my 8 year old came home from school and saw it he said "Awesome!" I am sure it was because of all the fruit, but it made me happy. Plus it does look pretty too!
I love the messages in this video, there are many. It makes me miss having so many little ones, yet inspires me to enjoy every minute while they continue to grow. I feel so blessed to know that I am a Child of God, and that my Heavenly Father loves and cares about me. When I remember these things nothing else matters. My family and my
faith, through them I find peace, through them I find happiness!
Enjoy your Sunday!
